Top 10 Games of 2017

Super Mario Bros 3 is universally recognized as one of the best Mario games, and revolutionized platformers. Sure, Nintendo could have made another Super Mario game exactly like the old ones and it would have made tons of money. But with Miyamoto at the helm, we had the most influential Mario game of all time. In Super Mario Bros 3 new mechanics were introduced, new characters like the Koopa Kids, amazing graphics, and most recognizable: an overworld! A world map that allowed you to select levels, and more importantly, find secret paths. What surprised me the most is the level of character design in Super Mario 3. The Bullet Bills and other enemies were finalized, and much of their models are the same in Super Mario Odyssey. There's so much to show and this is a game that has shaped me and my love for video games. So, straight from the Super Mario All Stars pack, I give to you my Super Mario 3 review!
