The Grinch Review

February's theme for the Completionist channel is thre-quels. And start with my Metroid Prime 3 review. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is the most different from the Metroid Trilogy. A blockbuster of a story, with cinematics, full voice acting (well, except for Samus Aran), and the return of Dark Samus. But did breaking from the mold to try new things hurt Metroid Prime 3 overall? They changed the blueprint with combat, gave the waggle tech with the Wii free-hand aiming (which works surprisingly well with the lock-on system), and introduced us to a larger world that had, well, people. Previous Metroid games you were isolated and the atmosphere was intense, the music complimentary, but as good as the premise for Metroid Prime 3 is, it loses parts of itself that made it Metroid. The biggest disappointment being the music. But hey, these are just some of my thoughts and it is definitely a fantastic game! Let me know what you thought about my Metroid Prime 3 Corruption review!
