Computer Says NoNot that long ago, qualities like experience and loyalty were prized assets anyone would be proud to show off on their work resumes. They were important features employers looked for when hiring new staff. But now it seems, not so. Because in a flooded and ruthless job market, companies are relying on artificial intelligence to make decisions about who gets interviewed for positions and who gets rejected. As Dimity Clancey reports, the big losers in this brave new employment world are workers with decades of dedication and hard-earned wisdom. Put simply, the oldies are out when the computer says no.Reporter: Dimity ClanceyProducer: Nichola YoungerBack to the FutureRemember Josh Frydenberg? Before Jim Chalmers, he was in charge of Australia's then 600-billion-dollar wallet. Then, in 2022 , when Scott Morrison's Coalition government was dumped, Frydenberg was not only kicked out of the treasurer's office, humiliatingly, he also lost his seat in parliament. He has kept a relatively low political profile since, but no longer. Frydenberg has written a memoir, and considering the timing of its release, there's substantial chatter that he's on the road to a Canberra comeback. As Nine's Tracy Grimshaw reports, that means current Opposition leader Angus Taylor should be looking over both shoulders: there's Pauline Hanson on one side, Josh Frydenberg on the other.Reporter: Tracy GrimshawProducer: Anne Worthington
