California is now dealing with another round of rain, on the heels of historic downpours, flooding and mudslides. This, as the northeast grapples with bitter temperatures and snow…all while Americans kick off a big holiday travel weekend. NBC News' Camila Bernal has the story. President Trump is backing protestors who have taken to the streets demonstrating against the Iranian government. He posted the U.S. is ‘locked and loaded' and ready to come to their rescue if Iranian authorities crack down. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. Police say Spencer and Monique Tepe were found shot to death in their Ohio home. Their 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son were found unharmed in another room, according to the family. Police are now searching for their killer. NBC News' Maggie Vespa reports. Body and dash cam video released by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office shows a dramatic traffic stop. The sheriff says after a witness spotted a registered sex offender driving with two boys, deputies discovered one of them was a missing person. The man tried to run away from police and grab a deputy's gun, while a 15-year-old tried to flee in the truck. NBC News' Jesse Kirsch reports. It's going to be a busy year for space exploration with American Astronauts scheduled to make a return visit around the moon, traveling further than any human ever. Investigators say sparklers placed in champagne bottles were held too close to the ceiling and may have ignited the material, triggering a fast-moving fire that killed at least 40 people and injured 119 others. Survivors described chaos and panic as flames spread rapidly through the crowded bar in the Swiss Alps. NBC News' Daniele Hamamdjian reports. 87 year old photographer Cecil Williams has seen decades of history through his camera lens. He witnessed the civil rights movement in South Carolina and around the country. NBC News' Marquise Francis spoke to Williams about his photos and the new museum he plans to open to show his work.
