After the events at 'The Red Rooster,' Larisa the rat, Lucius, and Baron the Raven became outcasts in their own land. Having come face-to-face with the forces of darkness, they realized just how weak and helpless they truly were. Larisa resolved to find something that would allow them to stand against these evil powers and uphold their principles. The group came into possession of an ancient map depicting the lost Malestian Empire. Legend has it that the empire was highly advanced and renowned for its technology, but it was struck by a catastrophe, leaving only a wasteland in its wake. The party decided to venture into the very heart of the wasteland, to the city of Malestia—the capital of the former empire, now buried beneath the sands. Many dark legends surround this place, and all living creatures avoid it, but that did not stop our heroes.
