Ambitious and goal-oriented Sofia Likhacheva is used to keeping everything under control. She works as a crime reporter and enjoys conducting her own investigations. Sonya's personal life is also going well. Her fiancé Nikolai is a major businessman, the owner of a construction company, and they are scheduled to get married very soon. But Nikolai suddenly calls off the wedding and announces that he has met the woman of his dreams.
