The illness of a woman was the cause that a Dutchman built the famous railway line along the bed of the Rhine, also known as the Swiss Grand Canyon. The second pilot tells the story of banker Jan Willem Holsboer, who traveled in 1887 to Davos in Switzerland in connection with his wife's health. Eventually he realized his life's work there, the Rhätische Bahn.
