The family of lawyer Oleg Rumyantsev was attacked. Recovering, the lawyer finds his wife murdered, and his daughter Nina disappeared without a trace. With the help of Nina's friend Alla Berestova, the investigation manages to find out that Rumyantseva is hiding with her boyfriend Vanya Matveyev because her parents were forbidden to meet with him.
