Episode 1

Joe Miller manages to surprise everybody after he enters a plea of not guilty to Danny Latimer's murder. Ellie is now working as an uniformed police officer in Devon, while her nephew Olly Stevens looks after her son. The Latimers are able to get Jocelyn Knight to agree to try and help prosecute Joe. Paul Coates secretly offers spiritual counsel to Joe, whilst Becca Fisher.
