At Alder Hey Children's Hospital, two children with cerebral palsy prepare for spinal surgery to ease the uncontrollable tightening of muscles caused by their condition. But 15-year-old Thomas has had to raise the £29,000 for the procedure himself as the NHS only covers the operation for children between three and nine. Meanwhile, Jaxon is almost one but has been at Alder Hey on and off almost half his life for the treatment of a slow-growing tumour in his pelvic area. Last in the series.
