Devil Inside Me

In the summer of 2003, twelve year old John Drenner Jr. finds an old abandoned shack in the woods surrounding Odenton, Maryland behind his grandmother's home. During his investigation of the shack, he came upon a book that detailed dark, satanic rituals, eventually learning the area was used by devil worshipers to perform their rituals. One night, his sister Cheryl hears him chanting in a unfamiliar language one night and when she stops him, his nose starts bleeding. When John and Cheryl's mother and stepfather come pick him up the next morning, Cheryl brings up their adventures in the woods and their grandmother is surprised telling them that she's forbid them to go in the woods due to the town legend of Satanic rituals happening there. John and Cheryl's mother Dora, a skeptic of the supernatural, brushes it off saying they're only stories. Once the children go back home to nearby Pasadena, John becomes terrorized by a demonic entity every night who is hellbent on tormenting him, the demon refers to itself as "Legion", telling him that it won't stop until he is dead. His mother at first try to convince him that he's only having nightmares, but when the situation gets worse, she finally takes him to a child psychiatrist. John is said to be diagnosed with "night terrors" and given medication. When the children go back to their grandmother's house, Cherlyn catches John talking to "himself". The grandmother places religious artifacts in John's room to protect him believing something supernatural was attacking him, but it only made things worse for John when he returned home. John's friends use a Ouija board to conjure up the demon and one of them is grabbed. The demon attacks continue on for the next few years. By the age of nineteen, John becomes use to the attacks not knowing who to go to for assistance with his tormentor. He goes as far as making suicide attempts to get out of it. Eventually, the demon begins to attack his girlfriend Mary with whom he had moved in with, hinting that it will kill her. John is eventually plagued by horrific dreams, possibly the work of the demon. He then seeks help from a religious official who performs a deliverance on the young boy, ridding him of the demonic attachment however he feels, one day, that the demon may return, seeking revenge.
