Evil Never Dies

In the summer of 2009, Jennifer Welborn and her boyfriend Jamie move into a million dollar mansion in Pensacola, Florida by the Escambia Bay with Jennifer's two teenage daughters Candace and Lauren. Two weeks after moving into the house, Jennifer notices the pictures on the walls hanging upside down. She then notices all of Lauren's windows open and figures Candace is behind it as Lauren wasn't home all day. While Jennifer and Jamie are out one day, Candace and Lauren hears footsteps from upstairs. One night, Jennifer sees the ghost of a man watching her through the kitchen window. Jamie go hear her screams and go out to investigate, but sees no one. Jennifer believes the house is haunted, but Jamie is unconvinced. Jennifer eventually talks to her daughters about her experience and learns they're going through similar ones and is relieved she isn't going crazy. Lauren encounters a spirit that emerges from her closet one night that petrifies her. Jennifer comes to her rescue and sees scratch marks on her, but Lauren doesn't recall being scratched. As a result of this, Jennifer has her daughters sleep in her and Jamie's room on the floor to look out for them. Jamie is still unconvinced of the haunting. Jennifer calls paranormal investigator Toni Tally to take a look through the house. Toni feels negative energy upon arriving at the house. Inside, she later sees the name "HAL" written on the mirror and sees a dark shadow standing next to it. In the backyard, Toni has a vision of slaves hung from the trees. Toni came to the conclusion that "Hal" was the slave owner to these slaves. Toni then tells the family her information and decides to do a house cleansing. Jamie is surprised at what Toni says, but still isn't entirely convinced the house is haunted. The cleansing works for the next several weeks, but "Hal" comes back one night and grabs Jamie out of bed. Frightened and angry, Jamie grabs a gun and commands the spirit to show himself. He is now convinced the house is haunted. Toni comes to the family's aid once again and does another cleansing, but she is thrown back against the wall and receives scratch marks. She is unable to help the family anymore, but promised to look for some one else to help. The attack also resulted in her getting surgery and caused her to stop doing house cleansing altogether. Jennifer and Jamie consider moving. It's not until Lauren later encounters the spirit and is scratched, the family finally escape from the house.
