Rose is disillusioned with life at Le Paradis, but finds a confidant in the form of the in-house doctor, who sees her as more than just a disposable pleasure. Meanwhile, a gang of cat burglars has been terrorising Paris and suspicions fall on the brothel's charismatic new proprietor Louis Mosca when he and his associates buy the girls lavish goods.
