A Mother's Day Surprise!

Our Little Family is a new American reality television series that is currently airing on the TLC channel. The new series chronicles the daily life of the Hamill family. The Hamills are not your typical American family – all members of the family (parents Dan and Michelle along with their son Jack and twin daughters Cate and CeCe) are little people. The entire family has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. The Hamills are proud to be little people but growing up in an average-sized world has its complications, and they know the road ahead for their children is not going to be easy. Jack Hamill is already six years-old, and the twins will soon be three, so the children are becoming more aware of the fact they are different from other kids. Parents Dan and Michelle try applying their own life experience to guide their children to overcome physical and emotional challenges that come with being little and learn to adapt to the world around them. As you watch the first season of Our Little Family, you will get to follow the life of the Hamills family from birthday parties and holidays to anniversaries and casual days in the park. There will also be challenges such as potty training, starting kindergarten, joining extracurricular activities and sibling arguments. Also, the family will take a real vacation over Christmas for the first time ever. Season 1 of Our Little Family premiered on the TLC channel on February 17, 2015. There have been no official announcements yet from the producers of the show about its renewal for another season. Season 2 of Our Little Family will premiere on the TLC channel in the US on Tuesday, August 18th at 10/9c. Dan and Michelle Hamill, and their three children, Jack, and twins Cece and Cate will all be back for a new season that promises even more fun with trips and precious family time that showcases the development of Cece and Cate’s personalities and how Jack continues his role as the hilariously funny big brother. Also, in season 2, the Hamills will head to Roloff Farms for a special TLC crossover episode with Little People Big World. UPDATED May 22, 2015: On May 21, 2015, the TLC channel officially renewed Our Little Family for season 2. According to the official press release, a second season will consist of eight one-hour episodes and one one-hour special where the Hamill family will answer behind-the-scenes questions. Season 1 of Our Little Family became a top 5 cable program in its time period in the United States and attracted on average 1.7 million viewers.
