Prue, and Piper are caught using their powers by a national TV news camera, and are exposed as witches to the whole country. Phoebe and Leo have gone to the underworld to try to save Cole, but while there a deranged woman shoots and kills Piper. Phoebe then makes a pact with The Source Of All Evil in order to turn back time and save Piper, but it comes at a terrible price.
