Piper and Leo are off meeting with The Elders, in the hopes that they will be allowed to continue their relationship. Meanwhile, Prue and Phoebe must contend with demons who help mortal murderers go free in exchange for the souls of their victims. Also, Phoebe meets and falls for the new D.A. Cole Turner, unaware that he is really a demon sent to destroy the Charmed Ones.
