Absolute Justice

A middle-aged man wielding an energy rod comes to see Chloe, and asks for her help forming a team of heroes. However, an ice-wielding metahuman attacks and kills him. Chloe and Clark soon discover that the man was one of several heroes from decades past, and the killer is targeting the group. Searching for more information, they meet museum curator Carter Hall, homeless wanderer Kent Nelson, and teenager Courtney Whitmore... all members of the same group, the Justice Society of America. Meanwhile, Lois is given several leads on a story involving the JSA by a mysterious woman working for a government organization known as Checkmate.
