The Final Challenge

When a few members of the Super Friends and Legion of Doom are engaged in a battle in Earth's orbit, they are captured by a being named Vartu who brings them to his universe where he subjects them to a number of challenges to determine which is better, good or evil. While the five captured Super Friends and member of the Legion of Doom are busy with these contests, the remaining members of both sides search through different universes in an effort to find their missing comrades. In a sub-atomic Universe, Luthor tries to destroy Superfriends in an atomic reaction, but Black Vulcan is able to stop this. In another Universe, an impish being uses a crystal cube that can look into other Universes to find the missing members, but Sinestro steals the cube and the Legion uses it to get to their missing members. The Superfriends win and the Legion members are dropped into a Lake of acid, however Superman rescues them. When Vartu attacks both groups, the Hall of Doom is able to temporially stop him with a force field. However the Legion then prepares to attack the five Superfriends. However the other Superfriends track the Hall of Doom and rescue their members from the Legion, before they are sent back to their world by Vartu, enabling the Legion to again escape.
