J.D.'s slacker brother Dan returns. J.D. has been lying to Dan to protect his feelings, telling him that Elliot is still into him. Turk and Carla pick out baby names, then fight when Turk reveals them to J.D. and they get ruined. Dr. Kelso sticks Dr. Cox with a lousy task assisting Ted after Dr. Cox insults Dr. Kelso's son.
