Badlands

DS Boulton sets out to arrest a pair of brutal thieves and is adamant that Mick Glover, a local crook, is involved. PCs Quinnan and Garfield try warn Boulton off as they already have him under surveillance. He ignores them and goes through with a raid, with disastrous consequences which puts an informant called Janie in danger. Quinnan and Garfield then find her flat has been vandalised and Quinnan and Garfield chase the suspects but they end up being separated. Quinnan chases them into a youth cnetre where is he beaten and stabbed by the yobs. Garfield can only watch in horror.
