The Rings of Akhaten

For her first trip in the TARDIS, the Doctor takes Clara to the Rings of Akhaten, where the residents participate in a once-every-thousand-year-celebration to give keepsakes to their deity, the Old God. However, when Clara befriends a young girl on the run, the time travelers are soon drawn into trouble when the Old God threatens to awaken and consume everyone in its path.
