The Fortuneteller

Aang, Katara, and Sokka come across a town that refuses to check a near-by volcano because a local fortuneteller has told them that the volcano will not erupt. But when Aang takes a look he sees that the volcano will blow in the near future. When he warns the town, nobody will listen to him because they have put too much faith into the fortunetellers’ words.
