Four new bakers are ready to do what it takes to show off their baking skills in front of Aaron and the judges. First Mary puts them to the test with a technical challenge for perfect melting moment biscuits, before they have to get in the party mood with a show-stopping cake fit for a carnival. From a pick-and-mix chocolate cake and a carnival queen to a helter skelter and a marbled zebra cake, only one baker will impress queen of cakes Mary Berry and king of pastry James Martin enough to earn them a place in the semi-final.
