Joey and Chandler adopt a baby chick. But taking care of the chicken causes them to bicker like a married couple, so they decide to return her. When Chandler returns home, he has not just the chick - but a duck too. Meanwhile, Monica is thrilled when Pete asks her to be head chef at his new restaurant, and she discovers Phoebe knows a secret about Pete that may solve her troubles finding him attractive. Elsewhere, Ross is due to appear on TV. But sacrifices it when Rachel has an accident and has to go to hospital.
