Chandler's romance novelist mother Nora visits New York. But she shares a drunken kiss with Ross whilst trying to resolve his feelings for Rachel, and the kiss is witnessed by Joey. Meanwhile, Monica and Phoebe both fall for the same guy and accidentally cause him to have a car accident, so they go head-to-head for him whilst he is in a coma.
