Stars and Nines

This unusual arrangement creates six-point stars that leave the nine-patch blocks dancing back and forth across the quilt. A great pattern for using scraps or your favorite fabric line paired with a focus print as the star. Mary Fons and Jodie Davis will present a method for cutting strip set units for easy nine-patch construction, how to create a template for seam marking and a basic set-in seam technique.
