A third victim - pub owner Dario Turchi - convinces commissioner Battaglia that a serial killer is behind the murders. As a disturbing connection between the victims comes to light, the investigation leads to a dangerous suspect. Mauro Degano, a local journalist, become increasingly insistent in pursuing the serial kille case. Meanwhile, accusations from Sebastiano Corsi, Teresa's ex-husband, force the Commissioner to confront her own troubled past.
