Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker joins Sunday TODAY's Willie Geist to discuss new polling from NBC News and Telemundo that shows President Donald Trump's approval rating at 27% among Latino voters. "These numbers are notable because in 2024, Latino voters helped fuel President Trump's presidential win because they trusted him on the economy. But now that supports seems to be shifting back towards Democrats," Kristen says. Video shows a dramatic confrontation with Gillio Lopes, one of the men accused in the Cornell sexual assault case. It's the latest fallout as more revelations surface about the local district attorney's actions before deciding not to move ahead with criminal charges. NBC's Valerie Castro reports for Sunday TODAY. A United States Marine is being held in Japan, accused of murder. Local police say 20-year-old Lance Corporal Devin Jacob Ballard brought a woman to a hotel before killing her and taking her wallet and backpack. Ballard has denied the allegations. In this week's Sunday Sitdown, music superstar Lizzo joins Willie Geist at Books of Wonder in New York to discuss her road from classically trained flute prodigy to Grammy-winning phenom and she shares the inspiration behind her new children's book, "Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin'," that tells the story of a young girl finding her now-famous confidence. She also speaks out about the two lawsuits against her, with parts of the first being dismissed and a federal judge dismissing the second altogether. "I had to make peace with the fact that there's a version of Lizzo that exists now that the world controls. The world controls the narrative and I don't. But what I can control is who I am," she says.
