Episode 1

A drug-related incident involving the "Tokyo Domei"—a semi-organized crime group—and the "Chinami-gumi" yakuza syndicate breaks out in Ueno. Detective Eiko Yagami (Meisa Kuroki) of the Ueno Central Police Station's Organized Crime Division defies orders from her superior, Kawakami (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), to pursue the truth through her own independent investigation. Looming in the background is a dark mystery linked to the inexplicable death of her late husband, Masaya (Katsuya Maikuma). As Eiko attempts to strike a deal with Chinami-gumi boss Arishima (Eiji Okuda), the shadow of a Filipino hitman named Graniso (Ken Kojima) emerges, sending the case spiraling in an unexpected direction.
