100 km off the coast of eastern Canada, the Magdalen Islands, or "Iles de la Madeleine" are North America's forgotten wonder - set in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, between Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula.
