Earlier, the elf Dododis, the owner of the capital's shop of all sorts of things, went in the company of his best friends to the volcano Nergal to free his sister Kristinochka. Dododis was able to save the girl, but died in an unequal battle with a mighty dragon, and the management of the shop of all sorts of things fell on Christina and her two husbands. Christina hired a coachman named Dobbs, gave him money and waited for him to bring 2,000 toothy ugly dolls to the capital. Soon she received a letter by pigeon mail, in which Dobbs said that he had purchased the goods and would arrive in 2 weeks. However, Dobbs did not return a month later. Christina decided to go to Rotten Harbor herself to find out where Dobbs had disappeared and find her goods until her shop was taken away by creditors.
