In June 2004, two traffic officers in the Civil Guard stopped a driver in a Suzuki in Castejón, Navarre, and were gunned down. The perpetrator vanished without a trace. A race against time began to find him. The bullets from the submachine gun would prove crucial in linking the killer to a bank robber known as ‘El Solitario' (The Loner).
