The Beck group receives a case where a pastor has died in an arson at one of the Pentecostal movement's parish halls. When Alex and Joseph arrive, she discovers that the other pastor in the church is a person from her past. The case becomes personal for Alex, who enlists the help of his mentor Martin Beck to give his view on the investigation. Beck - Out of the Ashes is the 53rd film starring Peter Haber.
