As the first national park founded to protect wildlife and ecological richness, the Everglades teems with life above and below water. This land of diversity boasts nine unique ecosystems, each shaped by the wet and dry seasons' ebb and flow. Roseate spoonbills, black bears, alligators, bottlenose dolphins and panthers all thrive in the largest subtropical wilderness in North America.
