Defending the poor people of the city is more difficult than Zorro thought as they can be easily manipulated by the gambling director. Don Diego needs to collect the taxes and to sensibly distribute them for the infrastructure of the city. The task is carried out by Zorro and the alter ego of Don Diego is becoming his weakness. Things at his household get complicated but it's the only way to clarity. Zorro is a wanted figure and the gendarmerie is getting ready for his capture. The sergeant investigated and now he considers to have a clue about the masked man.
