Professor Lucas Artemius accepts with the whole team to help accident-prone adolescent Ben Raddle, who inherited his elder brother's Klondyke Goldrush claim, for a share in the gold mine. When they arrive in Alaska, other diggers claim that volcanic area yielded nothing, except one honest old man, who offers them a deal, while the fiends give chase to steal the gold.
