When her daughter's untreated toothache developed into a large and aggressive facial tumour, Thandiwe sacrificed everything she had to try to save her child's life. Too poor to afford medical treatment, she roamed Zimbabwe in search of a doctor able to stop the growth that was slowly taking over her daughter's face until, eventually, a charity and a UK doctor got involved.
