The study group's status is put in jeopardy when there are only six seats available in Biology class. Pierce is still a bit on the outs from the paintball fallout, and is initially excluded. Things change when Jeff butts heads with their new professor and is kicked out of the class. Meanwhile, Dean Pelton finds a new nemesis in the school's sinister Vice Dean Laybourne.
