Robert meets up with Kath when she arrives at Home Farm and then drops the bombshell on Lawrence that he has been offered a job away from the village. Lawrence is left gutted when Robert implies that he is going to accept it but what is he up to? While Faith seethes over Eric standing her up, Eric begs Morris to go back to the original plan when he realises that the Dingles’ house is going to get knocked down instead of his own.
