The Day the Violence Died

Bart meets Chester J. Lampwick, a homeless man who claims and successfully proves that he is the creator of Itchy from <i>The Itchy & Scratchy Show</i>, but had his idea stolen by Roger Meyers's father back in the 1920s. After suing I&S Studios for royalties, the studio files for bankruptcy and shuts down.
