Second Time Round

The murder of a baccarat king leads to an arrest, a trial and also an acquittal, because the charged man has a watertight alibi. But time, mistrust and wagging tongues force the killer to strike a second time - and to meet again with a homicide detective who has retained a keen memory of the original crime.
