The Bates family receives some surprising help in covering up the incident with Deputy Shelby. The peace doesn't last long though, as a long-time client of the motel arrives, seeking to resume his old arrangement with the previous owner. Elsewhere, Norma hires Emma to work at the motel, Norman's relationship with Bradley goes sour, and a stray dog named Juno enters Norman's life.
