Norma Bates and her teenage son Norman relocate to the seemingly peaceful town of White Pine Bay, Oregon. Norma purchases a small motel, and intends to create a fresh start for her family. Unfortunately, an encounter with the motel's former owner reveals that White Pine Bay isn't as welcoming as it seems.
