The Farmer Takes a Wife

Andy and Barney are thrilled to see their friend, farmer "Big" Jim Pruitt come to Mayberry for a visit. When Jim informs them of his intention to find a wife to bring back to his farm, Barney is thrilled to help him out. That is, until Jim sets his sights on Barney's girl, Thelma Lou. As a result, Barney turns to Thelma Lou and Andy for help in breaking the news to Jim, so he could go find a nice, sweet country girl to settle down with.
