Harry's excitement about Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton visit to give a lecture in the store, is disturbed by news of a death. Mr Grove and Doris find consolation in each other following the sad news. Rose complains about Roddy, but when Harry confronts him, he is shocked by what Roddy has to say on the matter.
