With Grissom away at his new teaching job, the rest of the team has difficulty adjusting to Michael, their new team leader who's filling in for Grissom. Under their new guidance, the CSIs investigate the murder of a young girl who may be the latest victim of a serial killer who has been on the loose and killing since the 1970s.
